Soul (2020)

Show Notes

Deep in the dark time of Covid came Soul - released directly into homes on Christmas of 2020. We are very confused as to how long it takes for all of this to happen, apparently you can change your whole understanding of life gained in 35 years or all of human existence in two and a half earth hours. Discussion includes the use of a stereotypical Black type, what the pre- and post-life setup is and how it fits in with our understanding/belief systems, how each character has a hater among us and jazz and percussion intricacies.

Recommendations: Unabomer (Netflix); You Can See Everything (In Theaters)

Next up: Raya and the Last Dragon (2021)
