#52: Rocky (1976)

Thrillseekers: A neurodivergent love story

Show Notes

Sylvester Stallone wrote this movie! We watched Rocky from 1976, the film that kicked off a franchise and the stardom of one of the biggest names of the 80s, 90s and today. And it’s not a sports movie – it’s a love story between a boxer/thug and the shyest woman ever committed to film – both of whom are absolutely, positively on the autism spectrum – at least according to non-psychologists Amity and Lemuel – with a smidgen of boxing thrown in.
