We watched the best superhero movie – or at least top 3 – this week with the second film in Christopher Nolan’s trilogy, The Dark Knight. Incredible cast, unbelievable performances, great writing, and insane effects and set pieces all come together to form a tour-de-force that we could watch over and over again, maybe even just to hear Michael Caine tell us about rubies the size of a tangerine. Or to watch that magic trick where the Joker makes a pencil disappear. Or the best heist film ever in the first 10 minutes. Or an 18-wheeler doing a somersault. Or all of it, we’ll take all of it.
