S5E70 - 11.22.63 Part 1 (2016)

King on Screen: Having a nickname makes you important

Episode Notes

Firstly, we apologize because it sounds at time as though we are recording on an actual racetrack – we’re doing our best but the freeway is very very close to our house. Now, for the show itself – we watched episode 1 – The Rabbit Hole of 2016’s Hulu miniseries 11.22.63. We’ve got Stephen King (YAY). We’ve got time travel (YAY). We’ve got James Franco (Y…yeah). This week we get the lay of the 1960s land and a protagonist that cannot just do what he is told. Or at the very least not do what he is warned about doing. And we try to get the writers to understand that if a character has a nickname, he doesn’t mean nothing. We see you Yellow Card Man.

Recommendations: Schitt’s Creek (on Netflix)
